Fuel Oil

Champaign Landmark provides many of our heating customers with fuel oil for their homes. Heating oil, or oilheat, also known in the United States as No. 2 fuel oil and elsewhere as "red diesel", is a low viscosity flammable liquid petroleum product used to fuel building furnaces or boilers.

Fuel Oil Tank and Service Information

• We will sell tanks.
• We do not rent tanks.
• We do not install fuel oil tanks or provide maintenance services for them.
• We do have these parts available: whistles and gauges.

Fuel Oil Payment Options

Budget

• Allows the customer to spread the projected cost of their heating fuel
  over 12 months.
• Signup for the program is in June.
• The monthly budget amount is calculated by using the amount of product used the previous year and the projected cost for the product in the upcoming heating season then divided by 11.

Pay As You Use

• Any time that you call in or if you are filled on automatic fill, the amount of product delivered will be directly billed to your account. 150 gallons
  minimum delivery.

Fuel Oil Home Delivery Fill Options

Automatic Fill

• No charge for an emergency call if you run out of fuel.
• When using this feature, the driver will make regular stops to fill up the tanks, without the customer having to call in for product.
• To assure proper delivery time, the customer is asked to help us project their usage by:
• Keeping an eye on the first three times when product is needed.
• Provide previous fuel records.

Call In

• The customer will call the office in advance when fuel is needed.
• If the customer is out of fuel oil and wants it right away, the additional charges are:
• Same day need - $40.00 charge/trip.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays - $100.00 charge/trip.
