The Feed Department includes complete feeds, ingredients, grain used in feed, farm supplies, and all services related to feed such as grinding and delivery. All bulk deliveries are handled through our feed mills or direct from the manufacturer. Our regular feed business is handled at our Urbana branch and all bulk deliveries are handled from there or direct from the brand manufacturer. Mechanicsburg manufactures our Champaign Landmark brand of feeds for distribution to our various branches. All of our branches carry our own feed brand, the Lake Country Honor and Equine Merit Brands and Land O’Lakes brand feeds. Show feeds for 4-H and FFA projects are a large part of our “fair season” feed sales, from beef to dairy, swine, lambs and poultry.

Traditionally, as a farmer cooperative, we carry various lines of farm supplies. These include fence and fence supplies, all types of feeders, buckets, show supplies, twine and wire products, work clothing, wildlife feeds and much, much more. As country life and raising livestock changes, whether you operate a large swine or dairy operation, a horse stable, or just keep a few beef cattle or a horse and dog, we are working to provide the products and services you require.

In May of 2006 we opened our first Purina Mills® country lifestyle retail store in Delaware under the name of Champaign Feed and Pet Supply. In April of this year we will complete the remodeling and transition of our Mechanicsburg store into our second Champaign Feed and Pet Supply store. We are excited about the future of these stores and are committed to providing the high level of service our customers have been used to in the past and look forward to new customers.

Eric Johnson our Feed Department Manager watches over the inner workings of the feed department and assists and supports the managers of our four store locations and the other eight branches who carry various feed products and supplies. He has four teams made up of branch feed managers and feed representatives who work specifically with customers who raise swine, beef, dairy and horses. All of our feed managers and feed sales representatives can help you with all your animal health needs from livestock to pets and wildlife.
